Application Procedure
Initial contact may be by letter or telephone, describing the project, stating the specific amount requested and defining the community need to be addressed. The grant seeker will be asked to complete a formal grant application and provide additional reference material.
Please note: The Distribution Committee meets four times each year, in February, May, August and November. In order for your request to be considered, it should be received by the Community Foundation of Monroe County by the fifteenth day of January, April, July or October. After review by the Distribution Committee, final decisions will be made by the Board of Trustees at their regular meeting, which is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month except December.
